Escape Academy DLC: Ventilation Infiltration Solution

Jul 15, 2023

A helpful guide to walk players through the solution to Escape Academy’s 2022 DLC Ventilation Infiltration.

Escape Academy’s characters just can’t seem to catch a break. The game has no shortage of mysteries to unravel. Players will find themselves facing off against a barrage of challenging puzzles and environments.

Escape Academy’s DLC continues the trend. In Escape Academy: Escape from Anti-Escape Island, players have just wrapped up a successful year of school. Their summer vacation crashes to a halt when the cast’s Escape Jet is shot down over an uncharted island. The DLC challenges players to escape the island and untangle the conspiracy that brought them there.

Ventilation Infiltration is the third part of Escape Academy: Escape from Anti-Escape Island. It takes place after A Juicy Discovery. Ventilation Infiltration follows players as they infiltrate their rivals' lair and find their fellow Escapists. It has a difficulty rating of four and a twenty-five-minute time limit.

Crawl into the vent. There will be red, yellow, and blue cables. Follow the yellow one. There will be a small side area on the left-hand side of the vents, where players can find a tool bag. It has a combination lock on it, along with a note reading: Wiring problem? Fix it yourself.

Take a closer look at the cables. Each is made up of a different number of wires. Noting this, go back to the combination lock. It has three digits to enter. They’re all different colors – red, blue, and yellow. Match these to the number of wires each cable is made of to get the passcode: 5-4-7. The tool bag has a Screwdriver inside. Be sure to grab it before moving on.

Continue following the yellow cable. It leads to a vent grate. Unscrew the maintenance panel that’s next to it and press the button inside. The grate will open. Crawling through it takes players into a small lab.

Grab the Quad Code Key off a table by the underwater windows. Then, walk to the table in the center of the room and use the Quad Code Key to decipher the code the table displays: CONTROLS. Entering the password on the lab’s computer will give players an Elevator Schematic.

Climb back up into the vents. Following the blue cable leads players to another vent grate. Unscrew the maintenance panel next to it and open it, then climb down. There’s a locked crate by the windows. Search the room for the notes with these three clues:

(1 of 3)

The second digit is three times the first digit

(2 of 3)

The third digit is one less than the second digit

(3 of 3)

The first digit is three less than the third digit.

Doing the math on this gives players the passcode: 2-6-5. Once the crate opens up, grab the Keyring from inside.

Climb back in the vents. Following the red cable leads players to another vent grate. Unscrew it and press the button inside to open it, then crawl through. Players will find themselves in a room with an Elevator and a breaker box.

The elevator has some security measures that players need to cut power to. Players can do this using the Breaker Box. Unlock the Box using the Keyring, then use the Elevator Schematic to locate the Call Button switch. Then, switch off everything except the Call Button Switch. The easiest way to do this is by pressing the X on the left, then the X in the Center.

Call the elevator and take it to the first floor.

The first floor is an office with lots of cubicles. There will also be an Office Memo near a printer. Be sure to grab this. Players will need to find several ID Cards. They’ll be on the top of each computer monitor.

One cubicle is occupied. A character named Violette is sitting at her desk with headphones on, listening to loud music. Players still need her ID Card. To get it, go over to the Hypnotist’s desk and grab the Hypno-Muzak CD. Walk back to Violette’s cubicle and pop the CD into her computer tower. She’ll fall asleep, and players will be able to grab her ID Card.

Players should now have an Office Memo and the following characters’ ID Cards:

Yusuf’s desk has a note mentioning that he’s hidden his ID Card. The cubicle also has a lot of foosball memorabilia. The number eighteen is also hidden in several spots. This is worth remembering.

Players will find a Foosball Table on the second floor. This is where they'll be able to get Yusuf's ID Card. To do this, players will need to make the Foosball Table's score add up to eighteen. One solution is below:

Yusuf's ID Card will fall through a slot in the Foosball Table once the puzzle's been solved. Grab it before continuing to the next puzzle.

An Employee of the Month board is on a wall near the elevator. All the pictures have fallen to the ground. Players should put the pictures back on the board. This will give them the employee numbers and names. The pictures are all identical. Players can tell if they're in the right spot by seeing if the dot by the employee name turns blue.

Now, take a look at the Office Memo. Examining it reveals that employees #4713, #6912, and #4953 are the only ones allowed in the Laundry Room. Players can use the Employee of the Month Board to see that these employees are Yusuf, Violette, and Hachiro.

There will be several slots on the Laundry Room. Players can enter by inserting Yusuf, Violette, and Hachiro's ID Cards in the order that they're listed on the Office Memo. Once inside, grab a Scientist Costume. Players can then go up to the third floor and find the other Escapists. This will end Ventilation Infiltration and allow players to move onto the next level.

Escape Academy is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
